In June we released the Shiraz 2010. Thank you for all the support and compliments. Shiraz is without a doubt a South African favourite; it is because it goes so well with biltong if you ask me. Let’s answer some of the questions we received in June: 1) Will the Shiraz 2010 benefit from cellaring (age well?) – Our 2009 wines are drinking better and better each day. So absolutely! June 2012 Wines Available

In June 2012 we will release the Shiraz 2010. This wine has spent 12 months in 2-3rd fill French Oak and a further 14 months in the bottle before release. This is a perfect example of wine showing more fruit than oak allowing for the true cultivar characteristics to feature on both the nose and palate. The typical expected spice, clove and pepper with layers of rich red fruit. Fermented in open bins with regular punch downs  in the early stages of the fermentation.
