Unlike commercial winemaking, this approach prioritises fun and creativity over profit. With limited equipment and traditional techniques, the goal is to find innovative solutions to achieve great results. While there’s no strict definition or volume restriction, a true garagiste operation should be small enough to fit in a garage. The real reward lies in the sense of accomplishment and pride that comes with enjoying a bottle of your own handcrafted wine.
